Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Waalwijk

The room was clean and quiet, but the bed was way too soft, like sleeping in a hammock. Chur for the large windows letting in fresh air.

Clean and bright. Hotel staff helpful. Food good quality and quantity. Comfortable beds. We had a quadruple (four singles) and there was still plenty of space in the bedroom.

Bathroom spacious but as it is rectangular in shape, with window only at one end, it needs a strong extractor at the other end. Some of the rooms on the second floor are not served by the lift, so it is necessary to carry luggage up and down several short flights of stairs.

Absolutely faultless. Great food and bar, clean, can only but praise it. Only 5 mins from Efteling, great location for the theme park.

The stay was primarily for a visit to Efteling park, which was conveniently close and made our travel plans simple. The family room we had was spacious, providing enough room for all of us. While the hotel had a dated look, we appreciated the clean and quiet environment, which offered a nice break after our adventures. Breakfast options weren't extensive, but it was manageable since we found a nearby store for pastries that worked out well for our family.

I liked that it was a pleasant place that was a little removed from all of the commotion of the conference I attended at Efteling. It was clean, had lots of room, and was efficiently run.

I wish it had been a little easier to get around by bus.

The staff seemed very professional. Loved staying at the a nice size and well-equipped suite with the huge electric bed.

The big parking next to the hotel was free, and it definitely made things easier. The staff was super friendly when we arrived.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but still within acceptable range.

Hotel staff were very helpful. Restaurant was very good with a good menu selection. Room was clean and functional. Free w-fi in the restaurant area was also a bonus.

Spotlessly clean and bright place and the breakfast was very very good. I got a spotless and huge room with separate bathroom. The location was great, within easy walking distance of Vredesmonument Waalwijk. Shopping streets and a supermarket were right next door. I went to a NICE restaurant and appreciated the Chinese dishes.

The room was very clean and well-maintained! The proximity to Efteling park made our travel plans much easier. I enjoyed the lovely garden view, it added a nice touch to our experience.

Noise from the nearby road was a bit disturbing during the night.

Great location for Efteling trip - easy drive into the park - 10 euros to park or can get the bus (136 or 137 via Tilburg) for 6 euros. staff very helpful - restaurant is posh and slightly over priced but they have no problem if you order a couple of side dishes instead of the more expensive mains. Breakfast great, room a good size, no AC though but they did provide a fan.

There is no one thing that was best. Everything about the Hotel was excellent. We would highly recommend it to others, and we intend to use it for our next trip visiting relatives in Holland. It was an ideal base for us to visit Eferling, Beekse Bergen and relatives in Waspik and Raamsdonksveer, and for a family wedding in Den Bosch. Look forward to staying at the Hotel Waalwijk again very soon.
